Karl Heinz Riedle
will retire after helping Fulham to the Premiership |

The 35 year-old striker is back in contention for the Fulham side and scored a
vital goal in the recent west London derby at QPR.
But despite enjoying his football again, the former German international is adamant
that he will quit the game in May.
He said: "The injury I have had to a disc in my neck is the worst ever in my career,
but it is not about that.
"I made the decision to retire a year ago, even before this injury. I said 'one
more year, that's it', and that decision is still there.
"But I didn't want to finish when I had an injury, I'm looking to help Fulham
into the Premiership. But after that it will be over.
