Referee Graham Scott, the Oxfordshire-born referee, played as a goalie for Abingdon Town before injury ended his career. He then switched to refereeing working his way up to refing in the Conference from 2006/07. In the 2008/09 season he was promoted to the National List of referees. Ahead of the 2015/16 Premier League season, Scott was promoted into the Select Group of referees and officiates in the Premier League.

The last time Ref Scott refed Fulham was in the 2-1 away win at Sheffield Wednesday in May 2017. Mr Scott booked Tom Kalas for a foul and sent off a Wednesday player in the 45th minute for a bad tackle on Sone Aluko.

Arsenal last had the pleasure of Mr Scott's presence in August 2018, in their 3-1 home win over West Ham, when he booked one Arsenal player, Socratis Papastathopoulos and three West Ham players.

Last season he officiated at 30 matches issuing 80 yellow cards and 5 reds so a below average 2.7 yellows per game. This season so far he has reffed 12 games and has issued 32 yellows, an average of 3.4 per game, and four reds. So he is waving his yellow cards more than last season.

His busiest games in recent times were the Chelsea v Norwich game in Jan 2018 when he booked three Chelsea players and one Norwich player. He followed up two of the Chelsea yellows with a second yellow sending off Pedro and Morata. In the Leeds v Cardiff game in February 2018 he booked four Cardiff players and one Leeds player who then got a second yellow in the 45th minute.
