Player description
Hailing from the Port Kembla suburb of New South Wales, Gameiro is one of the first Australians to try his luck in the Whites' Academy. After a difficult settling in period, Gameiro is a popular member of Kit Symons' squad and one with a lot of potential.
An industrious striker with bags of pace and skill he has a keen eye for goal and an ability to turn a game. He is regarded as one of his country's brightest prospects.
Gameiro spent time on loan at Hayes and Yeading during the 2011/12 season before returning to Fulham in January 2012.
The striker played his part in the U18s Premier Academy League Final triumph over Blackburn Rovers at Craven Cottage on May 12, coming on for the final eight minutes of play to help Fulham secure the title.
Gameiro signed a contract extension with the Club in May 2012 that will see him remain at Fulham until the summer 2013.
Gameiro has joined Dutch side FC Eindhoven on a four-month loan.
The highly-rated 19-year-old Australian striker will hope to make his mark in the second tier of Dutch football.

On 28 June 2013, Gameiro signed for A-League team Sydney FC on a two-year deal.
