He said: "I'm sure that if the players show the commitment and resolve that they showed in that match, there's every possibility we'll get a result against Fulham - but it won't be easy.
Nigel Spackman's assistant certainly believes the Cottagers have Premiership credentials. He added: "They've had an outstanding season so far. There's no doubt about it - they are the form team and the best team in the division.
"But we've got to get as many points as we possibly can as early as we possibly can so that we don't have a nervy end to the season."
Barnsley have steered clear of any new injuries this week, with Steve Hayward working hard in training as he prepares for the visit of the club he left last month.
Fazackerley said: "I would think that Steve will want to prove one or two things to the Fulham people."
