Brevett, Davis and Saha are fit

Fulham have received a boost ahead of Sunday's clash with Blackburn Rovers with the news that Louis Saha has recovered from a knee injury.

The ten-goal striker missed the last league game against Bolton Wanderers and it was thought at one stage that he would be sidelined for up to a month, but he has made a rapid recovery and should take some part in the crunch clash with Graeme Souness' side at Craven Cottage.

Whether or not Saha starts the match is open to question as Luis Boa Morte has impressed in Saha's absence, grabbing both goals in the 2-0 victory over Bolton at the Reebok Stadium.

Sean Davis has handed Jean Tigana another boost after recovering from a calf injury and Rufus Brevett has also declared himself fit after a recent collarbone injury. Both are in contention for Sunday, but the Fulham boss may opt to stay with the players that dealt with Bolton last time out.

Fulham are aiming for a tenth straight league victory and to continue their 100 per cent start to the season.

Blackburn will be no pushovers, though, and former Fulham target Craig Hignett, who ran the game for Blackburn last season at the Cottage, is back in contention for Rovers after recovering from ankle problems.

The Cottagers are hoping for a sell-out crowd and are urging fans to arrive early at the ground to avoid congestion.
