Fulham defender Rufus Brevett insists The Cottagers will not run out of steam in the final part of the season.
There have been suggestions that the club's decision to enter the Intertoto Cup has left the players jaded and out of sorts.
But Fulham showed plenty of stamina in Saturday's goalless draw against fellow strugglers Bolton.
Defender Brevett said: "We all enjoyed the Intertoto Cup. We won it and got into the UEFA Cup, which was a great experience.
"We benefited from it, and I cannot say we are tired because of the Intertoto Cup.
"The training we do caters for the games we play. We have a lot of time to recover."
Fulham have picked up just two points from five games, but Brevett believes they can kick on and improve.
"We are in a false position at the moment and have to fight our way out of it," he said.
"We want to get as high in the table as we can, a top-10 finish we hope - although we know that's going to be hard work."
