A busy day on the transfer front at Fulham has not prevented The Cottagers from wrapping up a new deal with Danny Murphy.
The former Liverpool man is a key cog in the Fulham midfield and his importance only increased following the sale of Jimmy Bullard to Hull.
Cottagers chief Roy Hodgson has wrapped up deals for Olivier Dacourt and Julian Gray on Monday, but the extension to Murphy’s contract could arguably be viewed as just as important.
Murphy has put his name to a 12-month extension and is now committed to Fulham until the summer of 2010.
The midfielder has netted 5 goals in 25 appearances this term.
