Fulham boss Chris Coleman has threatened to take his players out on the town in a bid to cure their away-day blues.

Coleman's side are the only Premiership team without an away win this season and face a daunting trip to Manchester United on Saturday.

And he is now ready to take drastic action to overcome their horrendous away form.

Coleman said: "I'm thinking of taking the players out for a beer and some fish and chips on Friday just as a change of routine and to help them relax.

"I've got to try something different because our away form is the one thing that's holding us back at the moment.

"We've been approaching every game in the same way as if we were at home and yet it's not worked for us. This is a big game but it's a matter of going there, playing at our best, and if we can reproduce our home form then we stand a chance against anyone."
