Fulham Midfielder Danny Murphy is set for a 'Battle At The Bridge' Against Chelsea.
Chelsea host their London rivals Fulham in a rare midweek fixture with the Premier League champions looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat to Liverpool at the weekend.
Manchester United's win on Saturday closed the gap at the top of the table to just two points and Chelsea will be determined to get back to winning ways.
Murphy admits it will be difficult for Fulham to take anything from their trip to Stamford Bridge:
"Well if I'm honest, if you offer me a draw I'll take it now," Murphy said.
"It's a tough game, Chelsea, and just to rub salt on the wounds they've gone up to Liverpool and got beaten at the weekend so they're going to be a bit wounded."
The midfielder is expecting a physical game and is hoping his side can match the athleticism of Chelsea's superstars.
"We've got a few injury problems at the moment but we will see if we can prepare ourselves for a battle at the Bridge," he noted.
Fulham currently sit mid-table in the Premier League, but Murphy is confident the Cottagers' underdog status will give them freedom to play without any pressure.
"It's a big game for us because obviously they're our local rivals and whenever you play Chelsea it's tough, but we'll go there and give it a go," he said.
"You've got nothing to lose, no one expects you to get anything when you go to Chelsea, so we can play with a nice freedom."
With nothing to lose from the game, Fulham will be hoping to put a dent in their London rivals' title bid but will face a Blues side who are fighting for their place at the top of the table.
