Steven Davis has expressed his delight at finally completing his permanent move from Fulham to Rangers.

The Northern Ireland international penned a four-year deal at Ibrox on Thursday after an undisclosed fee was agreed between the clubs.

Davis had been linked with a Gers return all summer after impressing while on loan with Walter Smith's side last season.

The 23-year-old has revealed the saga did take its toll, but he is now looking to his football, starting with Aberdeen this weekend.

"I'm delighted. It's been ongoing all summer and it's great to get it finally done and dusted," he told the club's official website.

"It's been on and off all summer and I've been hearing bits and pieces throughout that time.

"It's good finally to get everything signed and be able to concentrate on the football.

"You don't know what's going to happen and it took its toll."

Davis helped Rangers win two domestic cups and stage an incredible quadruple challenge towards the end of last term.

He added: "I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. It's a great club and I'm just glad to be a part of it again.

"I look forward to playing for the club for the next four years."
