The England international scored on his debut in QPR's defeat to Wolves, while Fulham lost 3-0 to Manchester City.

The 28-year-old American is unconcerned by his departure and wished Zamora all the best.

"Bobby can get you goals but he also brought hold-up play to the team and a lot of assists," Dempsey told ESPN.

"Bobby is a great player who will go on and do well.

"We will miss him but we have to keep moving forward and make the best of the situation. We will be fine."

Dempsey is Fulham's top scorer with 16, while Zamora scored seven goals for the Whites this term.
