  • A representative of Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez is due in Italy on Friday to begin talks over a £40m move to Inter Milan.

  • Arsenal have raised their offer for Everton centre-back Phil Jagielka to £15m. They have also moved to end uncertainty over Cesc Fabregas by instructing Barcelona to meet their £40m valuation by Sunday or forget about signing the midfielder.
