Fulham Ladies cruised into the second round of the FA Cup with a fine display against Greater London League side Crystal Palace. It took only two minutes for Jackie Dinham to open the scoring with a well taken first time shot after Sanchia Duncan had crossed the ball into her path.

Palace’s young side held on despite heavy pressure with goalkeeper O’Sullivan making many good saves.

On 27 minutes Deena Rahman added the second with a low drive into the corner. Sanchia Duncan made it three before half time with a 25-yard free-kick.

With two Fulham players away representing England in the Ukraine and two other first teamers on the bench any fears that the girls would be less potent than usual were dispelled in the second half when the Whites rattled another ten past their London counterparts.

Katrine Petersen had an inspired game in midfield with Deena Rahman showing good vision with her passing.

Dinham resumed the scoring on 50 minutes and again on 53 minutes. Rahman scored her second on 58 minutes and Duncan got her hat-trick after a brace of goals in the 59th and 63rd minute.

Rahman also collected her third after a good run into the box. Sanchia Duncan hammered home her fourth on 75 minutes after collecting a searching ball from Jeray-Silver. Laveena Betts made it 11-0 with a well taken goal after the ball had been deflected into her path

Fourteeen year-olds Karen Mears and Gemma Priest made their debuts for the first team with Mears quickly making an impression after roasting the defenders with her pace and calmly slotting the ball past the advancing ‘keeper. Betts scored her second two minutes from time and then Dinham rounded off the afternoon making it 14-0 with the last kick of the game
