Many Fulham fans regard the local derby against Chelsea, on Sunday as the second most
exciting game of their first season in the Premiership. As in all derby games both sets of fan will be dreaming of the win that will let them
work with head held high but also secretly dreading the possibility of their team being defeated and the humiliation that that will bring.
In recent years the games between Fulham and Chelsea have been few and far between so the South London version of Arsenal v Tottenham
or Liverpool v Everton has not caused much interest. That however is set to change because Fulham, with the financial muscle of
Mohamed Al Fayed and the footballing genius of Jean Tigana Fulham, are back in the top flight looking to compete with
the worlds best teams. Already in their first season in the Premiership Fulham are playing football that has the Pundits raving.
On Sunday the hopes and fears of both groups of fans will be depending on the dream makers Louis Saha and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and the
Optastats below highlight the two players efforts so far this season.
Fulham fans looking forward to Louis Saha regaining his effectiveness in front of goal will none the less be happy with his work rate in terms
of passing. They will also be hoping that the Ref's will give Louis more protection in light of the evidence that he is a marked man having
bean fouled 25 times so far this season.
