Reading and Fulham complete swap
Reading have signed Liam Rosenior from Fulham, with Seol Ki-Hyeon moving in the opposite direction.
Both deals are for undisclosed fees with right-back Rosenior signing a three-year deal with the Royals.
"We are extremely pleased to be signing a very talented England Under-21 international," said Reading director of football Nick Hammond.
"He has significant Premier league experience but is also still only 23-year-old."
South Korean winger Seol spent last season with Reading after moving from Wolves and helped the club to an impressive first season in the Premier League.
Hammond added: "Seol's impact on the team was very significant in the early months of last season.
"He played an important role in establishing us in the Premier league during those important opening weeks."
Fulham Football Club confirmed the signing of Seol Ki-Hyeon from Reading Football Club, in a three-year deal which sees Liam Rosenior depart for the Madjeski Stadium.
The 28-year-old Korean international signed for Reading in July 2006 from Wolverhampton Wanderers where he played 76 games for the Black Country team from August 2004.
Ki-Hyeon started his career at Antwerp in Belgium staying for one season prior to joining fellow Belgian team Anderlecht, where he stayed for three years experiencing Champions League football during this time.
During the 2002 World Cup Finals held in Korea, Ki-Hyeon became a national hero by playing all six games for his country as they reached the semi-finals of the competition. He also appeared in the 2006 World Cup in Germany again appearing for his Country as a substitute during the group stages.
Lawrie Sanchez said:
Seol has many of the attributes that I look for in a player; he is strong and tenacious and is prepared to work hard to create opportunities for himself and the team. He is very good in the air but he will also close down opposition defenders.
'He can play as a striker but also has the ability to pose a threat on both sides of our midfield which offers depth and dimension to the squad. I believe he will be a great addition to our combined attacking effort, and have no doubts of his capabilities following his fantastic performances for Reading last season.
