Fulham boss Martin Jol is a former West Brom player while Baggies' head coach Roy Hodgson used to manage Fulham but with both clubs in danger of being dragged into a relegation fight, there will be no room for sentiment at Craven Cottage.
Any chance of silverware this season disappeared with both teams suffering 2-1 defeats in the FA Cup over the weekend - but as Hodgson admitted, the cup was "a subsidiary target" and it's now time to focus on the "main priority" of Premier League survival.
Despite the fact that both teams are languishing in the bottom half of the table, they can each claim to be in some sort of relevant league form - Fulham have won four of their last five home league matches, while West Brom have won three of their last four league games on the road.
