Fulham defender John Paintsil has rejected suggestions he could be set to join West Brom.
Reports claimed that PaPaintsilntsil, who was in Ghana's World Cup squad, would be sold as part of a squad shake-up following the appointment of Mark Hughes as Roy Hodgson's successor.
However, Paintsil believes there is no truth in the reports and has indicated that he expects to remain at Craven Cottage for the coming season.
"I don't know anything about that report and I am fully concentrating on Fulham with the season just about to start," he told Ghanasoccernet.com. "Coach Mark Hughes has not even met the playing body yet so it is impossible that such conclusions have been made.
"Journalists must cross checks facts before coming out with such stories because it is causing a lot of discomfort."
