Fulham old boy Sean Davis could make a surprise return to the club.

Midfielder Davis quit for Tottenham and is now at Portsmouth but has never recovered his form from his Craven Cottage days.

Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez fancies him as a possible replacement for Michael Brown, who is considering a move to Wigan.

Davis is a product of Fulham youth system and was described by former Fulham and England boss Kevin Keegan as being a hot prospect for the future.

He made his first-team debut aged just 17 years and 25 days in 1996 and by the time he left Fulham he had played in each division of the Football League including the Premiership.
