Following an increased bid for Fulham midfielder Steed Malbranque from Manchester City The Cottagers have announced that Malbranque will be staying at the club.
Fulham turned down the offer as it did not meet their valuation of the player and in addition the French Under-21 decided that he wanted to continue playing football at Craven Cottage.
The Club stated that: it was delighted with the player's commitment to the new campaign. It is reported that Manchester City have accepted the decision and have ended their interest
