Fulham midfielder Dickson Etuhu insists he has nothing to prove against former club Sunderland on Sunday.

The Fulham midfielder spent a season at the Stadium of Light, making 21 appearances, before moving to Craven Cottage in 2008.

He had an unhappy return to the North East last time when the Whites went down 1-0, but the Nigerian international says he's got no regrets about leaving the Black Cats for SW6.

He said: "I'm past having a point to prove now. I'm a big boy and don't think about all that. I'll just go out there and play like it was against any other team.

"We played really well and were unfortunate to lose last year. It was a very even game, we had a few chances and so did they.

"We're looking forward to going there and playing in a beautiful stadium."
