Fulham and their out going manager Jean Tigana still have to decide when Tigana will be leaving should it be at the end of the season on May 11 or when his contract expires on June 30.

The last game of the Frenchman's reign will be the final Barclaycard Premiership match of the campaign at Charlton, although his three-year deal officially expires six weeks later.

The deciding factor over whether or not he works at the club's Motspur Park training ground in the close season is likely to be whether or not his replacement has been appointed.

Cottagers chief executive Bruce Langham wants to name the new man before the Charlton game, a move which could give Tigana he opportunity to leave early.

Tigana said: "It's possible I'll stay a little bit at Fulham.

"But I need a holiday because I've only had 15 days' holiday in three years."

Tigana, a former agent, said he would retire from club management but was non-committal when asked by the Press Association if working for the French Football Federation - where he is highly regarded - appealed to him.

"I want to stop and I'll need something to happen to change my mind about stopping," he added.

"I was joking when I said about stopping management to go fishing. But I don't want to go to a different club and it's possible I'll stop."
