Palace have been offered Fulham striker Eddie Johnson, according to the Croyden Advertiser.
The USA international, who spent a largely unproductive loan spell last season at Cardiff City, is deemed surplus to requirements at Craven Cottage - but still has two years left to run on his current deal.
Johnson is keen to leave the west Londoners on loan next season - and the player's agent has contacted Palace with a view to a possible move to SE25.
Boss Neil Warnock said: "We've had a phone call about him from his agent - but we don't know if we are going to follow it up.
"It's an option."
