Fulham manager Mark Hughes is believed to be targeting a January move for £2 million-rated Cardiff City forward Jay Bothroyd.
The 28-year-old is out of contract in the summer, is refusing to sign a new contract at Cardiff.
The hitman had a run out for Fabio Capello's England recently, but has been sidelined for the last three games - at club level - due to a hamstring injury.
