John Arne Riise's agent is confident that
the player will complete his move to Fulham.
The midfielder's switch to the Premiership looked to be in jeopardy after
his former club demanded a cut of the transfer fee.
Norwegian Second Division outfit Aalesund want 25 per cent of the reported
£4million fee as a sell-on clause.
And although current club Monaco threatened to pull the plug on the transfer,
Riise's agent Einar Baardsen remains optimisitic that a solution can be
found.
Baardsen told Ananova.com: "I know that the clubs are talking and I
am confident that the transfer will be completed.
"I will not go into any details but this isn't a case of making Aalesund
back down, it's a question of coming to an agreement.
"The move to Fulham is still on as far as we know and we are hopeful
that we can reach a solution."
