Fulham midfielder Zoltan Gera
injured for festive period |

Fulham are likely to have go through the festive period without Zoltan Gera, but
manager Roy Hodgson feels the injury is not as bad as had
been feared.
The Cottagers feared the Hungarian had torn a calf muscle which would have ruled
him out for a couple of months.
A scan has proved inconclusive, but the belief is that it is a strain rather than
a tear that will keep him out for a fortnight.
“He had a scan yesterday and we hope the injury is not quite as bad as we first
feared, when we thought he had torn the calf muscle,” said Hodgson. “But it is an
injury that is going to keep him out for a couple of weeks.”
