Fulham boss Jean Tigana has confirmed an interest in Monaco duo Martin Djetou and Philippe Christanval.

He admitted he will try and complete the signings of Djetou and Christanval, after the French League Cup final against Lyon on Saturday.

22-year-old Parisien Christanval is a one-club man, while Djetou has admitted he wants to play in England, and preferably in London.

Tigana knows the Monaco skipper well from their time together in the Principality, and was even his agent for a spell.

"They have a League Cup final to play, then I will call chairman Jean-Louis Campora," he stated.
"They have an interesting profile, if we can afford them. The French players are not really cheap. "We won't sign three players on enormous wages. We will try to be the surprise.

"But agents become mad, they ask me incredible things for the players.
