Fulham boss Jean Tigana could be given a £50million transfer kitty
during the summer but the manager of the first division champions won't
be paying over the odds for players.
"For me I have a different vision than to just spend money,"
admitted Tigana.
"When I first arrived people said I would be able to spend as much
money as I liked. But I kept the same team pretty much because I knew
we needed to progress step-by-step.
"I do not want to solve things by buying more and more players.
I want players who will fit into my way of thinking.
"I do not just want players who are interested in money. Any contracts
I give out will be heavily bonus-related."
