Fulham boss Jean Tigana was disappointed with his player's efforts despite seeing his team clinch a place in the third round of the Intertoto Cup with a draw against FC Haka.

Fulham had a tricky second leg tie to negotiate in Finland after drawing a blank in the first match but Steve Marlet put the Cottagers ahead in the 47th minute.

It was far from plain-sailing though as Sami Ristila equalised for the Finns six minutes after the hour mark.

There were some nervous moments towards the end as Fulham held on to go through on away goals and remain on course for a place in the Uefa Cup despite the obstacle of Greek side Aigaleo in the next round.

"I am disappointed with our team's performance because we had many chances to score but we didn't take them," said Tigana.

"We started training on June 24 so it's very early yet - we need more games."
