John Collins
passes fitness run out with reserves |
|
The Fulham star has missed the last two months with hamstring trouble but has
resumed training and completed 90 minutes for the reserves against Oxford at their
Motspur Park training ground earlier today.
As the Scottish international came through unscathed, he could be back in contention
for the visit of Nottingham Forest on Saturday, 17 February.
He said: "I'm hoping to play in a reserve game and then be back in first-team
action very shortly.
"I've been chomping at the bit to get back playing again and cannot wait to get
back into the side."
Without the 33-year-old midfielder, Jean Tigana's First Division pacesetters have
failed to quite reproduce the form which made them unstoppable in the first half
of the season.
