John Collins is set to return to the starting line-up for the visit of Huddersfield Town on Saturday after being rested in midweek.
The midfield star sat out Wednesday evening's Worthington Cup victory over Wolves, when Fulham came from a goal down to beat the midlanders by three goals to two, but he is now very keen to get back into the thick of the action and help the side to its first league win in four attempts.
The former Scottish international said that it was important for the side to do what they have been doing all season and concentrate on passing and retaining possession.
After dropping seven points in the last three league fixtures, no one at the club is taking Huddersfield lightly and Collins' midfield partner Lee Clark warned against complacency. He said that it was important not to underestimate the Terriers as they have just appointed a new management team and when that happens at a club it often produces positive results.
Jean Tigana will certainly make changes to the midweek side. Chris Coleman will come back into the heart of defence and it remains to be seen whether Kit Symons, on the sidelines for most of this campaign so far, gets the nod over Welsh team-mate Andy Melville. Barry Hayles is struggling to be fit for Saturday and it may be that Tigana opts to keep Louis Boa Morte up front with Luis Saha, after his two-goal performance against Wolves. The only other injury doubt surrounds Paul Trollope who picked up a head injury in the Wolves' match.
Fulham will be looking for three points to keep the pressure up on Division One leaders Watford, who got a taste of reality when they were beaten 3-0 by a weakened Manchester United side in midweek.
