Fulham keeper David Stockdale will discover today whether he needs to land a loan move away from Fulham to boost his Euro 2012 hopes.
The Cottagers keeper has reinforced his England squad claims during a ten-game run in place of the crocked Mark Schwarzer.
But the veteran Aussie is fit again after a back problem and is pressing for a recall for this evening's trip to face Manchester City.
Stockdale had hoped to extend his first-team run and showcase his qualities in a head to head with England and City No.1 Joe Hart.
But Fulham boss Martin Jol will make a late choice about who should start. And if Schwarzer gets the nod, the manager admits Stockdale is likely to go out on loan again.
Jol said: "If Mark plays then I will have to sit down with David. He told me at the start of the season he needed to play and I think he was right."
