New Manchester City boss Kevin Keegan is
the first manager to show an interest in Fulham's want-away defender Alan
Neilson.
Keegan is said to be putting together a £500,000 bid for the Welsh
international who has asked to go on the transfer list at Craven Cottage.
The former England boss knows Neilson well from his days as manager of Fulham,
and has signed the player twice - for The Cottagers and during his time
at Newcastle.
Keegan believes Alan would do a good job for the Maine Road outfit in the
First Division next season.
