A number of Premier League clubs have made enquiries for Liverpool defender Paul Konchesky according to Skysports.

Konchesky, who only joined the Reds from Fulham in the summer, has found himself out of favour at Anfield in recent weeks and has not played since Kenny Dalglish replaced Roy Hodgson at the helm earlier this month.

Dalglish has used right-back Glen Johnson at left-back in the last two games fuelling rumours that Konchesky does not figure in his plans at Liverpool.

The defender's situation at Liverpool is believed to have alerted several Premier League rivals who are believed to have asked the Merseyside club about his availability.

However, suitors of the former Charlton and West Ham man are set to be disappointed as under Fifa regulations Konchesky is unable to play for a third club this season having already featured for Fulham and Liverpool.
