Lee Clark has been ruled out of Wednesday's
game against his former club Sunderland because of the Achilles injury picked
up last Friday.
The 28-year-old midfielder, signed from The Black Cats for £3million
two years ago, was unable to play in the 3-2 defeat at Manchester United
in the opening game of the season on Sunday.
Fulham immediately sent Clark to see a specialist and the good news is that
the injury, a recurrence of an old problem, is not serious.
Nevertheless, as well as missing the Sunderland game, Clark will also be
absent for the home clash with Derby on Saturday.
