Sylvain Legwinski |
Fulham's out-of-favour French midfielder Sylvain Legwinski has been offered a contract by Ipswich.
Legwinski, 33, has not figured in Chris Coleman's squad since January and has not even been offered a squad number at Craven Cottage this season.
Ipswich boss Jim Magilton is keen to snap up the playmaker as his side attempt to launch a promotion assault on the Coca-Cola Championship.
"We've had a look at Sylvain, he had a look at us and negotiations are going on at the moment," said Magilton.
Legwinski can play in the centre of midfield or on the right flank and has spent five years in West London after being signed by Jean Tigana for £3.3 million in 2001 from Bordeaux.
