Fulham striker Marcello Trotta has joined Brentford on loan until 13th Jan 2013.
Brentford could unleash Marcello Trotta on Sheffield United tomorrow following his loan move to Griffin Park.
Trotta, who scored eight goals in eight appearances for Wycombe Wanderers last term, completed his transfer from Fulham yesterday and is expected to join fellow new signing Lee Hodson in Uwe Rosler's squad.
Capped for Italy at under-16, U-18 and U-19 levels, Trotta progressed through the youth system at Napoli before being lured to England by Manchester City.
"Marcello is a player we have admired for a long period," Mark Warburton, Brentford's sporting director, said. "He has been very near to joining several Championship clubs over the past few weeks."
