Fulham manager Martin Jol is focused on a "difficult" FA Cup third-round tie against Charlton, npower League One leaders.

"In England when you play against a team in the lower leagues it could be difficult if you let them play, with all their enthusiasm, attitude and approach.

"For them it is an important game and we want to go through to the next round of the FA Cup.

"We are aware of the fact that they are a team with a winning mentality and hopefully the difference between the Premier League and their league is enough to win this game.

"But if you allow them to play with their strengths, it is a big task. They have played 24 games and only have two defeats. They have a lot of crosses, two good main strikers and it is a unit.

"It will be a difficult game for us."

Asked whether he would field a weakened team, Jol said: "No, that time is over. This is probably our 35th game and before that we had so many games.

"Every week we had three games so we had to rotate my players. I was always communicating with the medical staff and we knew exactly about the physical condition of my players so I had to rotate.

"Now we had five days rest so I will play my strongest team."

Jol will be without several first-team players for Saturday's match, including Mark Schwarzer, Simon Davies and Andrew Johnson.
