Fulham captain Danny Murphy says Fulham are relishing taking on in-form Spurs at Craven Cottage this weekend.

The Cottagers' fine 2-1 win over Newcastle on Sunday was their second in three games and lifted Roy Hodgson's side up to 10th in the Premier League table.

Spurs are in red-hot form following Harry Redknapp's arrival, but Murphy sees no reason why they cannot cause an upset against their London rivals.

"We're looking forward to Saturday now," Murphy told the club's official website. "If we win that game we might be pushing into the top eight.

"The Premier League is unbelievable this year and I can't remember it ever being this tight. I think the main thing is for us to keep our level of performance up and maintain that good form."

Spurs' U-turn in form has come as no surprise to Murphy who believed the White Hart Lane outfit always possessed a quality squad throughout their troubles under Juande Ramos.

"For me it was only a matter of time before they turned the corner," he continued. "Tottenham have quality players and we have to be on the top of our game again or we'll get punished.

"When we play well we can give anyone a game. We played a good Arsenal side at home at the beginning of the season and beat them. Our home form is good so we have nothing to fear - bring it on."
