Luis Boa Morte not to face further action

Luis Boa Morte is to escape further punishment
for allegedly head-butting an opponent in Sunday's game against Ipswich.
Boa Morte was booked for the challenge at Craven Cottage and later sent
off when he was shown a second yellow card for diving.
Some pundits have suggested Boa Morte should
have been sent off for the first offence, and wondered if he may face
trial-by-video at a later date.
But the Premier League have confirmed that,
just like Chelsea's Graeme Le Saux following his two-footed challenge
on Leeds defender Danny Mills, there is no chance of that happening.
FA and Premiership rules state that if
a referee sees a challenge and issues a card, then that is the end of
the matter.
If referee Mike Riley had missed the incident
all together then the winger could be facing an FA rap - but Riley did
see the incident and only opted for a yellow.
It means Boa Morte will miss just one match
through suspension instead of three, although he will not escape punishment
all together as Fulham say they will deal with the matter internally.
