On Wednesday evening Super Fulham play Aston Villa at home in the Premiership. The Midlanders have had as much fortune against The Cottagers in London as Fulham have had up at Aston Villa. Villa have not won at Fulham since Nov. 1970 when they won 2-0 in the old third division.
Unfortunately for Fulham Villa seem to be coming into some form having won their last two Premiership games, at home to Leeds and away at Leicester. Although that away win at Leicester was their only away win since mid December when they won at Blackburn. On the other hand Fulham have only lost one of their last 6 home games in the Premiership winning five games either 2-1 or 2-0. So Cookie Coleman and his Black and White Army should be favourites to collect all three points.
Elsewhere The Roman Army have the most difficult task of the top three with an away game at Portsmouth. At the bottom of the table Leeds are at home to Wolves and there will be enormous pressure on the Leeds players to win. Will there be an explosion or an implosion?
If Aston Villa win and Bolton win away at Leicester on Tuesday evening the Villians and the Trotters would move above us in the table leaving us in 10th spot. Hopefully both Micky can get a win.
If Fulham win and, Liverpool cannot win at home to Man City, Charlton lose at home to Tottenham and Newcastle lose away at Blackburn then Fulham go 4th :-)
