Riise agrees terms with Tigana

JOHN ARNE RIISE will take a medical in the
coming week to seal his £4million move from Monaco to Fulham.
Riise stated "I have agreed personal terms with Fulham after meeting
with their manager Jean Tigana and with my agents.
"The meeting was held in Tigana's house in Marseille and after just
over an hour-and-a-half, we agreed on the personal deal.
"I am very satisfied with the terms, even though there are a few things
that need to be sorted out.
"The medical will be in just over a week. The test will be done in
London and that shouldn't be a problem.
"It was really nice to meet Tigana again," added Riise. "He
is a really nice person, with lots of good humour just like he was when
he brought me to Monaco.
"Tigana showed his faith in me and I was already a regular when I was
aged 17 and 18.
"He has told me that he will give me a chance if I go to Fulham - which
is important for a young player like me.
"The goal for next season will be to qualify for the UEFA Cup.
The club has shown it can reach its goals - the goal for last season was
to get promoted to the Premier League, and that was achieved.
