Fulham forward Bryan Ruiz knows that Charlton will pose a stern test to the Whites in Saturday's FA Cup tie.
The Whites went out of the Carling Cup on penalties to Chelsea and the Costa Rican is looking forward to playing in the showpiece cup competition against the Addicks.
"I've always known about the two Cup competitions that are played in England.
"I've heard about Charlton as a former Premier League team and we're expecting a tough game against them on Saturday."
The former FC Twente man has made 16 league appearances for the west London club, scoring two goals and feels he is settling in at Craven Cottage.
"I think we're really getting to know each other on the field of play," said Ruiz. "When we play offensively I think we combine really well and defensively we're doing well.
"We have some very creative players and that's great for the team and I'm really enjoying it here at Fulham."
