Fulham star Sean Davis insists he enjoyed his week with the England squad despite having to sit on the bench for Wednesday's 3-1 defeat to Australia.
Unfortunately the 23-year-old midfielder was not given a run-out against the Aussies as Sven Goran Eriksson fielded 22 of his 27-man squad.
But Davis, who is still waiting for his England debut, insists it was still a good experience, despite the disappointment of missing out on the action.
He said: "It was great just to be training with England and I really enjoyed it. I knew a lot of the lads from the Under-21s and it wasn't difficult to settle in.
"It leaves you wanting more and I need to play as well as possible for Fulham every week to get back in the squad."
