The Sun newspaper claims this morning that new Spurs boss Jacques Santini is closing in on Fulham midfield player Sean Davis.
And that the London clubs are expected to agree a £3million transfer fee that will make the 24-year-old home-grown star one of Santini’s first signings.
Fulham watchers will be rather surprised at this latest tabloid exclusive as Fulham have turned down bids of £5 million in the recent past and Davis himself has claimed that he is near to signing a new contract with the Cottagers.
Davis has also said "I don't think we need to get rid of anybody and hopefully the manager Chris Coleman will bring in the right sort of players to improve us further."
But with agents and contracts who knows?
