Fulham midfielder Sean
Davis has vowed to win his battle with second season syndrome.
Davis was a regular in the headlines last campaign as his swashbuckling
performances at the heart of a Cottagers midfield helped them steamroller
their way to the First Division title.

The 21-year-old was expected to scale the same heights in his debut season
in the top flight, but after a promising start he has struggled to cope
with the physical demands of the Premiership.
He was dropped for Sunday's 1-1 draw with Ipswich but is hopeful his
time on the bench will turn out to be the catalyst to a sparkling return
to form.
Davis said: "I couldn't have written a better story for me last
season but the second season is always the hardest and I know that now.
"I'm still young and still learning. I'm the first person to say
that I haven't performed to my potential in the Premiership yet. I have
held up my hand and said that.
"The manager has dropped me but hopefully when I get my chance I
can get back to how I was playing last season. I'm working hard in training
and know I'll be back to my best soon."
Davis, who made his debut as a 17-year-old, has clocked up 97 first class
games for the club and despite his tender age has already played in every
division of the football league.
