Malbranque, who joined Fulham from Lyon for £5 million last summer,
has been one of the star performers for Jean Tigana's men and has attracted
the attention of European scouts.
However, the France Under-21 has pre-empted any talk of a transfer by
insisting he is happy at the club. "My next season, I see it at Fulham,"
said the 22-year-old. "I feel good at this club and I'll stay."
Fulham assistant coach Christian Damiano insisted the season had been
satisfactory and welcomed Malbranque's commitment. "Our objective
was to stay in the Premier League and we were also in the semi-final of
the FA Cup," he said.
"If we had one more striker we'd have finished in the top eight, but
we were too weak up front and in midfield only Malbranque and Legwinski
have scored."
