PORTSMOUTH and Aston Villa have joined the race for Fulham right-back Liam Rosenior, writes Dave Kidd at The Sun.

SunSport revealed this week Reading boss Steve Coppell wants to sign the England Under-21 star.

But Villa boss Martin O’Neill and Pompey chief Harry Redknapp have also made enquiries.

Rosenior has been told by new boss Lawrie Sanchez he can leave after the arrival of Southampton’s Chris Baird.
