Worthington Cup 2001
Fixtures 05-06/09/00

last updated Monday 04th September 2000, 2:13 PM
The Super Whites' second eleven failed to impress when given their chance against Northampton in the first leg and lost 1-0.

Nationwide Division One Manager of the Month Jean Tigana has the ability to put out more first teamers, with the possible exception of the some of Fulham's World Cup All Stars. However he will also be planning how to best use his resources in face of three league matches between the 10/09/00 and the 16/09/00.

A possible tactic may therefore be to start with a secondish eleven on Tuesday night and rely on a powerful group of subs to come on and rescue the game if required.

Which ever way COME ON YOU WHITES!!!!
