Brighton have been warned about facing another team with top six credentials at the Amex.
Fulham are intent on forcing their way into the promotion picture in Saturday’s clash.
The second-placed Seagulls were held to a draw at home by improving Aston Villa on Friday night.
Villa expect to make up ground on the clubs above them and Fulham fancy their chances as well.
They have already beaten Newcastle and Huddersfield and drawn with Norwich.
They are keen to continue their impressive record against sides in the promotion zone after snatching a late point at home to Sheffield Wednesday.
Scott Malone, who grabbed the equaliser, said: “You need to beat the top teams if you want to get in the top six – so that’s our aim starting Saturday.
“It’s a tough challenge but it will be interesting. We can compete in the top six. We’re a good team and we can wear teams down.”
Fulham's pacey right-back Ryan Fredericks is nursing a hamstring niggle. The Cottagers are happy to give him as long as possible to prove his fitness but have Denis Odoi on standby.
Slavisa Jokanovic could be tempted into one change in midfield, where experienced Scott Parker is thought to be a strong contender for a recall.
