Former Fulham striker Eidur Gudjohnsen is set to sign for Championship side Bolton Wanderers 14 years after he left the club.
Gudjohnsen spent two years at Bolton between 1998 and 2000 before moving to Chelsea and then Barcelona.
The Iceland forward, 36, has been training with the Wanderers after his release by Belgian side Club Brugge.
After leaving the Nou Camp in 2009, Gudjohnsen moved to Monaco but failed to settle and returned to England to have spells at Tottenham, Stoke and Fulham.
He had stints in Greece with AEK Athens and then moved to Belgium to join Cercle Brugge and Club Brugge.
Gudjohnsen made his Fulham debut as a substitute in a 2-2 Premier League draw at Aston Villa in Feb 2011 and during the following 5 months he started 4 times and was a substitute 6 times. He left at the end of the season to go to AEK Athens.
